Does running over the base of a pole count as hitting it?

I guess it does. I just got back from my road test and while parell parking I ran over the corner of the base of the pole; automatic failure. So I guess my next road test will be in French once I get to Quebec. Oh well thems the breaks right? On the plus side things are going well in the peg got a few days left b4 heading to Dryden then the following Saturday I'm off to Timmins. I hope dad can drive me to work in PQ LOL.
